This wasn’t just about shelter. My design for the modular one-floor container house was about clarity, adaptability, and creating space that lives with you — not just around you.

Built from reconfigured shipping containers, the structure is modular at its core. Each unit serves a function — sleep, cook, gather, rest — and can be arranged to fit different landscapes, lifestyles, or phases of life. It’s not prefab. It’s purposefully modular.

The concept was grounded in honest materials and flexible living. Corrugated steel, warm wood, large glass planes — everything visible, nothing hidden. The layout flows as you do: open when it needs to breathe, compact when it needs to hold.

The visuals are restrained: long shadows, raw textures, and a low profile that sits with the land rather than shouting over it.

It’s not about square footage. It’s about space that adapts — to people, to place, to time.
